Sarah Pain took a Halloween prank call from a Canadian comedian who masqueraded as the French President, Nicholas Sarkozy. The audio tape on Palin being pranked by a fake Sarkozy is here. This Nicholas Sarkozy imposter comic told Palin she would make a good president. Palin laughed and replied, “Maybe in 8 years.”

Palin’s campaign spokeswoman, Tracey Schmitt confirmed that Palin had the prank call. Schmitt said that Gov. Palin was amused when she learnt she was the target of a prankster and likened herself to celebrities who have received these prank calls.

“Nicholas Sarkozy” asked Sarah Palin how confident she was. Sarkozy said his favorite hobby was hunting. Sarkozy said he loved killing those animals but has never tried shooting from an aircraft. Sarkozy said he could see Belgium from his palace window. Sarkozy had a habit of interrupting Gov. Palin and that should have warned her. Sarkozy said Carla was jealous her husband was telephoning Palin. The comedians from CKY Montreal announced at the end of the call that Palin was being pranked.

The Callers were Montreal comedy duo Marc-Antoine Audette and Sebastien Trudel. Audette and Trudel are known as the Masked Avengers. The Masked Avengers are known for making prank calls to celebrities and heads of state.
