Updated July 5 2009 – Jim Palin, Todd Palin’s father, said he was extremely surprised his daughter-in-law Sarah Palin resigned from her post as the Governor of Alaska. Jim Palin said Todd and Sarah were very private people and seldom discussed their affairs.

Jim Palin and Faye Palin had joined the younger Palins on their campaign trail last autumn. Jim Palin said he could not disclose the true reasons why Sarah Palin resigned but said he had spoken to Todd and the younger Palins were doing well.

Updated July 5 2009 – The FBI’s spokesperson said that there are no indictments against Sarah Palin. So there is no truth to the Iceberg scandal.

Why did Sarah Palin resign? Did Palin resign because she knew the iceberg scandal was going to break? What is the Iceberg scandal? The iceberg scandal is the nickname given to the scandalous suggestion that Palin’s home and the Wasilla Sports Complex shared too many similarities for comfort.

The Wasilla Sport Complex and Palin’s home used the same type of building material and same design for the windows. There are alleged possible federal indictments against Palin. The indictments allege an embezzlement scandal as both buildings use the same material. Who are the sources on the iceberg scandal? Local Alaska residents who have seen the structures claim there could be something fishy behind it. The claim said Alaskans were told to keep the issue under wraps while federal investigators worked on collecting evidence.

Spenard Building Supplies was responsible for the building materials for Wasilla Sports Complex, Palin’s home and Ted Stevens’ cabin. The company was three times lucky.

Palin’s home and the Wasilla Sports Complex were said to have been built at the same time. This was when Palin was running for Lieutenant Governor.

Sarah Palin’s house has two-story, four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Todd Palin built it with his contractor friends. The Palin home is on Lake Lucille. The Palin home is worth $552,000.

Sarah Palin quits: Sarah Palin resigns as Alaska Governor (photos)

Sarah Palin resigned as the Governor of Alaska. Palin announced she will quit on July 26 2009. The power of the Governor will then be passed on to the present Lt Gov Sean Parnell. Palin made the announcement she was quitting the post of Governor from her home in Wasilla. Palin was surrounded by her her husband, Todd Palin, her family and Alaska’s state Commissioners.

By quitting the governorship, Sarah Palin frees herself to run for President during the next election.
