Sarah Lemmon, the pilot of the plane crash that left four dead and two critically injured, was from Anaheim Hills, California. Sarah Lemmon’s plane had been examined and certified fit for flying in 2007. Sarah Lemmon’s co-pilot James Bland, 52, of Carlsbad, Calif., perished in the crash.

Air traffic controllers in Columbia, South Carolina said they saw sparks coming out of the plane after take off. The plane piloted by Sarah Lemmon crashed into the antennae and fencing at the runway and was stopped by an embankment before the highway.
