Dear Angie,
not sure if you have an update on this, but I was reading a site on Honour Killings, and the Domestic was found, dead on the roof top… seems the husband suspected his wife of having an affair and killed them both… I would put the site I found the report on, but don’t think it right to subject you or your visitors to the horror of all the killings… only if you ask me, will I put it here…
David…
ps I got into researching Honour Killings because of a report in our local press, that the father of Aqsa Parvez was formally charged with her murder, for not wearing Islamic Scarf…

Dear David,
Thanks for the stories. I’m not sure what makes the right stories for readers to flock to but let’s try to see if that particular gory story can generate interest.
I had one story on a hairdresser in UK who was refused a job because she insisted on wearing her headscarf. Not many people were keen to read that post.
June 21st, 2008 at 5:35 pm
my appoligies, it seems I mixed two cases up, it was the Aarushi Talwar, case where the domestic was found dead on the terrace… and seeing as you have a few honour killings (”martyrs” in the apartheid like war on women, I prefer)here is the site I was talking about above… go easy, there are a lot… I got to page 15 before I quit… just too much killing and those beautiful girls slaughtered for choosing differently… too much… http://stophonourkillings.com

David,
It is hard to believe that educated parents would do honor killings. I prefer to guess that they would forgive and move on.
June 21st, 2008 at 7:02 pm
Hi Angie,
I would be hoped that educated parents would, but a what level of education are we talking… from what I read on the site stop honour killings, this is not the case, even for people who have studied medicine… one, a pediatrician, administered an anesthetic, so the girl could be strangled… now that honour killing in Turkey has outlawed, there has been a rise in forced suicides… it is a cultural thing in most cases, and nothing to do with education… unless the culture of using women as bargaining chips in social confrontations changes, the Holocaust, (an Israeli’s term for what is happening to women in Asian countries) of killing women, will not go away… there is one local court in Pakistan, that has made it illegal to report honour killings, on pain of death… how do you fight that… it would take a strong person to go to the police…
June 21st, 2008 at 7:21 pm
You’re right. Even an outsider is scared to bear witness. Have you read Aarushi’s case here? It is a big mystery.
June 22nd, 2008 at 1:02 pm
re Aarushi’s murder, I read the reports down to the 21st of June; my first impression is that the police are scrambling for a scape goat… the family of the girl murdered has powerful ties with someone, and they are putting pressure on the police to find someone that they can pin the murders on… there are too many inconsistencies in the investigation, as the last person Jodha has said… to be blunt, the police are acting like silent movie cops… at this point, I would not trust a charge against anyone, coming from the CBI… this has been one fouled up investigation… they have muddied the evidence and no one should be charged on what has been gathered…
I’m posting here, as I don’t think my posting on the page would be appreciated, as I am an outsider… as well, my take on what would be permissible in court as evidence may be totally out of line with what is custom in India…
one thing that puzzles me, that the bodies of the victims were so casually disposed of, with no full autopsy… the evidence of the hair in the male’s mouth, or the taking of blood samples for checking, and swabs to tell if there were sexual interference… perhaps I have watched too many cop series, but it seems rather cavalier considering it was a double homicide… are we looking here at interference from the get go… or is this usual…
and again, there seems to be a huge leek in the CBI system, directly to the press… there is way too much information being passed to the TV News and Newspapers… does not happen like that here in Canada… yes there is speculation, but on the whole, most is without foundation as the police keep there investigations close to their chests, unless they need the help of the public in getting new leads, or there is good reason, such as to keep people from panicking… sometimes it works out, sometime it goes terribly awry…
June 22nd, 2008 at 1:07 pm
btw, Angie, I appreciate your taking time to talk; just thought I should tell you,
June 22nd, 2008 at 3:27 pm
David,
The appreciation is mutual.
The situation online resembles a people’s court but most probably there won’t be any squeaks in real time. Its international on that webpage.
There seems to be intelligence working behind the scenes. Like a trap.
Thanks for your time. A quiet voice of reason…
June 23rd, 2008 at 12:04 am
Hi Angie, your right about the People’s Court (kangaroo court)aspect of some of the comment streams… your one on the Fritzl’s is the only one that seems to be wholly supportive… have been involved in two others, one a blog, the other a newspaper article’s comment section, and they resemble some of the worst aspects of the online fighting between the participants in the Zimbabwe civil war…
in my posts for the most part I do try to keep a reasoned tone, with information that is factual or ideas that are supportive or logical… think it was from my years on the magazine… it was a Christian mag, and we had to be polite regardless of what flak we were taking… either online, via phone or by mail… great training for this hahaha… but I have to admit to a few over the top posts, when it gets truly frustrating…
I got a smile before hitting the sack this morning at 4:30ish re your reference to intelligence working behind the scenes, like a trap… my youth was spent in Central Ontario, in a village that was newly being re-invented out of a very rural background; trapping and hunting were still a big part of the life of the village and farmers round ’bouts… tried hunting once, but decided it was not for me… wasn’t that desperate for the ’sports thrill’ nor any need for the meat… did enjoy fishing for a meal
as for my time, well, don’t worry, if it weren’t for the misinformation on the Fritsl’s in the beginning and the attacks on Rosemarie in particular, I might not be involved… it just spread from there, tracking several other cases around Eruope and the world… the Honour Killing, it just came as a natural extension, when the news article came out last week, and no one was commenting; and now the FGM crisis in Britain, from the Independent news story this morning…
over the years I’ve seen and heard much of the mistreatment of women, and read even more from my interest in history… more than there is room here to tell about…
this war against women has been waged a very long time… probably right from the beginning of our species rise to intelligence… at least that is the evidence of archeology… latest is a burial ground from the stone age, where there are only men and children… it would appear that the women were the reason for the attack; another case, where a young hunter in his 20’s was found with an arrow head in his chest… beside him were buried a young woman and child… no speculation from the archeologists on this one, but it doesn’t take a genius to see a man killed in battle, and his wife and child being killed to follow him in death, or if one were really cynical, killed to reduce the mouths to feed, now that their provider was gone… at the very least they may have been killed during the attack… the stone age was not all that peaceful…
seems the only thing that has changed is the level of ‘civilization’ and the weapons of choice… women and children are still the ones suffering, with no defense… our laws and religions are woefully inadequate in eradicating this evil in our species; in two blogs I have suggested that we are only fit for elimination, as a species, flawed as we are… got a reaction, but one of wait and we will do better or there has been improvement… one person had the audacity to compare the progress of foot binding in China, and it’s ‘elimination’ to the treatment of women in general… I let it go by, not wishing to cause a fight that would alienate a good person, who thought they were right… as I have come to learn, rubbing ones nose in their errors is counter productive; only causes them to stiffen their resolve that they are right, and no amount of persuasion will move them…
anyway, sorry ’bout this… letting off a bit of steam… tried to talk to my brother and wife about the FGM in Britain, and got my head bit off… know about it, but because they can’t see what can be of use in discussing it, they don’t want to know more…
if you feel like letting off steam, and no where to go, don’t hesitate
http://schneewolfe1948.blogspot.com/
BTW not exactly sure what you mean by Squeaks… it you mean vigilantly justice, no, I don’t think so… though I have to admit it is not without precedent… with the rising frustration of the people at not getting the truth and justice, I am sure that some may think it right to do something extreme… let’s hope not… it is as you probably know counter productive… even if at the time, it makes the people feel good about doing what they feel is something positive…
June 23rd, 2008 at 5:00 am
Dear David,
When real evidence from people are called for, we can hear a pin drop. Not a squeak to be heard. Everyone is afraid to respond. Rightly too because the power is in the hands of those already privileged. The situation has been described by those in that country.
There was someone who commented that an open platform could induce responses and maybe real witnesses or those who hold evidence.
The intelligence could be throwing a few red herrings to see to takes the bait and who trips up.
June 23rd, 2008 at 5:39 am
Hi Angie,
OK!!! re reading your previous comment with this input throws a whole new light on this… so with the internet open so to speak, but not exactly free from tampering… gotcha… so, people can be afraid to speak there minds if real hard evidence might be available, because even though they can be totally innocent, if their speculation falls within the parameters of say the real truth, they could be pulled in for questioning, as there IP address can be accessed and they would be identified if the Internet Service Providers are obliged by law to divulge their information on request from the Intelligence… so it maybe less keystone cops, and more phishing expeditions, the way they are conducting the investigation… which begs the question, how little of hard evidence do they really know…
I will stop here, for now… from the looks of things I have inundated you enough today… thank you again… catch up with you later… have a good evening…
Dave

Hi Angie,
http://schneewolfe1948.blogspot.com/2008/06/living-hell-in-this-life.html
made a list of 13 cases where either the girls/boys were kidnapped by strangers or family members imprisoned them… just remembered another, but not sure if would qualify, as it was a serial killer and his wife in Belgium, similar to the case here in Toronto, Bernardo/Homolka (aka Scarborough Rapist)

Hi Angie,
Going to try to do a logical and fact based analysis of the Aarushi Case… hope to have something in 24 hours… take A reader(a mother)’s well listed scenario, and try to build a tree…
for some reason, as you say, it captures the imagination.. for myself, I think it is the spaghetti like quality of the news reporting and police “information”, and handling of the case… for what should be a simple case, it has become far too complex… leaving open the door for wide speculations…
happy dreams…
June 27th, 2008 at 12:29 pm
Hi Angie, Spent better part of 14 hours on this, mostly going back and forth over your web site for the murders, and gleaned 6 pages… now on my website… not much has changed since I first found your site… my conclusions stand, though modified a bit… http://schneewolfe1948.blogspot.com/2008/06/aarushi-talwar-crime-page.html
have a good day, catch up with you later…

David,
I read it. Great work; systematic and tedious.
June 28th, 2008 at 7:08 am
hahaha, and you know my sense of humor; raaaaaight on!!:-0 but thanks for the GW; did a short ’systematic’ time line for Elizabeth Fritzl and her children… was interesting in that it really made her situation stand out and come to life, as I could see where she was and when I was… of course it wasn’t as ‘tedious’ as this one hahaha… love that word… can either be a compliment on my persistence or a knock at the reading of the results… nice going ;-0
Just working on a longer time line on my blog for Elisabeth… ‘ Systematic and TEDIOUS!!:-0 ‘
June 28th, 2008 at 8:04 am
David,
I’m guessing you did not like that comment. I’m sorry. I’m not very verbose under the circumstances. What’s your pupose in maintaining a voluminous blog on honor killings? A long term goal in mind?
June 28th, 2008 at 8:08 am
David,
Is there some human rights activist group?
June 28th, 2008 at 11:35 am
dear Angie, your wrong, very wrong… your comment on the ‘tedious’ blog post tickled my funny bone as we say… I am a twin, and the family says he didn’t just kiss the Blarney stone, he took a chunk out of it… talk the hind end off a mule… and as for wit, well, he left me witless ;0 it is only in writing that I shine… I am, if not in fact, almost a hermit; rarely go out, unless with a purpose…
my purpose with the blog site, is to publicize what is going on against women in the world… the link up in the right hand corner of the blog is to a international group that posts to it on matters affecting women, like FGM and Honour killings
http://stophonourkillings.com/
some pretty horrible stuff… made contact with a lady in South Wales, UK, Joanna, but there are many others… my feeling is that the more that people write about this subject, and publicly get out about it, that it will eventually be seen for the evil it is, and change can happen… maybe that is wishful thinking, and I certainly don’t see it happening in my lifetime, at least in Asia and Africa, but if we can prevent it from spreading into North America, Europe and Australia, then we have a chance… if not then we will loose what little ground we already have… Europe use to do some pretty horrific things to women in the name of culture, but we are better than we were (the Josef Fritzls not withstanding) I just want to see the momentum kept going… if we all do a bit, whatever it is, those who care, then surely the weight of all of us can tip the scales… slavery was not ended until many got involved, not just a few politicians… even then, in the US it took another 100 years for ex slaves to stand up for their rights… now the US has the chance to elect a black president… slow, but hey, progress… women didn’t have the right to an education in England until the late 18th century… it was over a hundred years later that they got the vote, and still more time, before they became persons with equal legal rights to men… sorry, ranting a bit here… but I guess you get the picture…
June 28th, 2008 at 1:26 pm
David,
That was well expressed. The blogger influence is slow. There were people asking for volunteers to take up the active fight as in activists but considering the risks and how we have family, responsibilities & commitments, that road is not for a person with attached baggage to walk.
June 29th, 2008 at 9:24 pm
Angie,
“I’ll be back,” using my best Arnold impression
till then have a good summer/winter, take care and will “see” you soon… thank you for the enjoyable conversations, hug from me… after 9, going to the flower nursery and buy some flowers for the garden… get my hands dirty
Time Angie, it is Time that is the enemy… too many worthy goals to archive and not enough time in the day… we have people pulling at us, from all directions… be it family, friends, or work… the BIG R. word… how many times did I go into work, feeling that I shouldn’t be there, for one reason or another, other than the R. word… responsibility to the people I was serving, to the church, to fellow workers who depended on my work for their work, to God, to earn a living for my kids and myself… and there is that last person, responsibility to self, the one who comes in last on the list… so you are right, though the risks you mention are probably low, the real risk, is burning out ourselves, and losing our families, friends and our direction…
one of the reasons I am cutting back to your posts for contacts on the Fritzl family… I will continue my blogs when I can, and keeping up to date with the news on Aarushi and Elizabeth, the world of Honour Killing, and the Female Holocaust… but as my sister in law and friend in South Africa said, it is summer, don’t waste it in the basement, plugging away at the computer… my sister in law compared me to Elisabeth Fritzl, pale, with out the gray hair
June 29th, 2008 at 9:43 pm
Dear David,
Make Vitamin D while the sun shines. Another way would be to discipline & limit the time allocated to writing each day. At the rate of 15 new cases daily, it would be tough to keep up. May you have sun bleached hair the next time you write again. All the best to you. Thank you for everything. ((( )))
July 1st, 2008 at 7:17 am
Dear Angie,
but I did have a good time… just wanted to let you know of a two news articles that I blogged today, and an update on the Female Holocaust post… may be of interest to you.
Left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing, as my mom would say
Joanne told me about Fraternal Polyandry… you may have heard of it, where one woman marries several brothers… but in this case, they aren’t all getting married, they are pooling their money, and purchasing a wife, for one brother, but all using her for household chores and matrimonial privileges… according to the web, in India, there is a history and mythology about women having more than one husband… was especially prevalent in pre communist Tibet… but it is usually the woman’s choice, in the situation that Joanne is talking about, the woman doesn’t have a choice…
Sorry, hair is not sunshine bleached today
First, South West China Riots over Rape and Murder of Student… kept wondering as I read and wrote, what it would take for people in Delhi to do the same to the CBI over Aarushi’s murder…
Second, Infanticide and Abortions of baby girls triggers social upheaval in India http://www.thestar.com/News/World/article/451522
Which led to a new listing in the Female Holocaust post, after sending this news article to the Honour Killing web site, (which is now up again, was done because they got it mixed up who was suppose to pay the webhost
off to check the blogs for a bit…
July 1st, 2008 at 7:44 am
David,
I did a quick read. That was a good compilation. We all need marketing to promote more reading of writings. You must have spent so much time on that piece of work.
July 1st, 2008 at 8:40 am
Hi Angie,
btw, still haven’t figured out where you are on this odd shaped ball, but glad you are… have a good day…
if you are referring to the Female Holocaust post, took about 6-8 hours for the initial post, back last week… forget the date now… done so much writing lately… have updated it twice since then, and each time bring it up to the top
as for marketing… the only way that I feel I can is with the tags… but it hasn’t resulted in too many comments… can’t tell if people visit or not otherwise… but that’s ok… it’s out there, and that’s what counts… if one person reads it, they can’t help but go away reflecting on it… and therefore I have made a difference… one more drip in the bucket to tip the scales… ok, well it has been a long day, yawning here… will say goodnight and perhaps see you later in your day… usually wake up once through the night
July 1st, 2008 at 8:44 am
Dear David,
Forty Winks and some more…
Thanks
July 12th, 2008 at 10:20 am
dear Angie,
have a good day, {{{ }}}
seems lots going on, what with the Fritzls and Aarushi/Hemraj case, and the honour killings… you mentioned something in one of your comments about coping with routine work… is this related to your website here… I realize that it must take up a lot of work keeping track of all these celebz… and trying to keep up with the likes of me and the other’s who post comments… can’t imagine how you do it… trying to keep my own interests under control on the web is difficult (looks like I might end up with 5 blogs going, don’t know how I am going to do it and keep up with my involvement with reading and commenting on other sites)… have wondered several times, if you ever get out… hope so… don’t think I can name one female hermit
ok, time I headed to bed… one last question… and this is probably wrong; but seeing as you aren’t Philippina that leaves how many 100 other countries to choose from… should I make a list and just ask one per day??
ps have thought of blog posting on the care and feeding of our 21st century toys… some of my posts have leaned that way… but never directly addressed that issue… having grown up in a time before many of the housewives so called labor saving devices, I can attest to the fact that much of our inventiveness has made us slaves to them… dj
July 12th, 2008 at 10:41 am
Dear David,
One of my small work tasks became big because of a technical problem and it got delayed which wasted time.
I was badly discriminated against and retrenched from a few virtual places because of origin. That is why I don’t disclose anymore. One troll became a stalker, others did other stuff. Not to mention some unpaid work here and there. Just because people are far away in a virtual world, it does not mean that one can omit payment and not fear repercussions.
Forgive me for non-disclosure. Thanks.
I wish to work for myself and not be threatened by small, biased capitalists. For the sake of my health , sanity and sanctity.
July 12th, 2008 at 4:40 pm
Dear Angie, I just deleted two long boring posts in succession…;) did a stint in VW back in 1998/99 as a painter… that and the Church World, gives me a good insight to read between the lines… especially about your health, sanity and sanctity; I won’t ask again where you are… doesn’t matter really…
the only thing that really matters is this: are you happy where you are in life, regardless of the problems with technology…
July 12th, 2008 at 4:46 pm
Dear David,
I’m ok. If we keep on censoring ourselves, nothing gets out.

Angie Says:
July 14th, 2008 at 7:52 pm
David,
Its getting difficult to find one fully functional, non-dynsfunctional family that one can name at the top of the head… no matter where we live.
Dear Angie, I don’t know if you remember your teen years, or it you had children… but from 13 to 20, (some younger these days)teens go through what we called the rebellious stage… very very few don’t, or there parents cover over it with big authority scene, but everyone in the village or local community knows who is having problems… now I am talking from Western Society perspective here… and from what I see, the Talwars, while being in Noida, were westernized to a degree… Aarushi was in that age bracket, and heading into the most volatile years…
and I think that is what is missing in a lot of dysfunctional families, they either don’t remember, or were so repressed by abuse that it never happened that they rebelled…
that text message, where she wanted to something again… I’m betting that is the key… and it isn’t as prurient as the folks on the forum think, nor as innocent or trivial as Mrs T. wants us to think… my best guess is it had to do with the Birthday party and the End of School Party… from the social network sites, I’d say she was starting to associate virtually with an older crowd, by older I mean 17-19, and it wasn’t just her, but some of her classmates… she may have gone to one of their parties… with permission, but the parents later found out it was at something like the Fluid Lounge… even may have been there… she loves to dance according to what people say about her… that’s her element… so she wants to do it again… she wants to bring her older on line friends there as well as her school class friends… SPARKS FLY!! as a parent of a 14/15 year old, I would have a hard time with that… it would take a broad minded parent to approve, especially if they aren’t into that scene themselves, and from the looks of the Talwars I would hazard a guess that while forward looking, do not participate in anything so decadent… a classic clash of old culture with new… The Generation Gap…
and there I have to end it… my nephew and I are walking up to pick him up a pack of cigarettes and get some groceries… I quit smoking a pipe after 13 years, when I was 26-27… but I still remember how it was
catch you on the roundabouts
July 15th, 2008 at 4:45 am
Dear David,
I would think that the family with a set of parents who work day and night and compel their sole child to communicate by email may be dysfunctional. You are so right on rebellion and abused beyond speaking up. It is so typical. Communication is the key but many families refuse to dialogue.
July 15th, 2008 at 6:36 am
Dialogue means two people speaking and listening… too often parents don’t think that way… they find themselves ‘instructing’ rather than dialoguing… parents need to listen… same goes for husbands and wives… but of course that is a different discussion
one last point… don’t know if this has happened to you… where one parent puts a limit on the children, and the children go to the other parent and get a different limit… works better of course when the parents are divorced… they can learn to be devious at a young age… perhaps kids are born innocent, but they don’t stay that way, much more than 24 hours
July 15th, 2008 at 7:10 am
David,
“Children are meant to be seen and not heard. Speaking down to children (no matter what age) is acceptable because elders have the right and wisdom.”
July 15th, 2008 at 10:52 am
Dear Angie, I hope you are being facetious… and got that out of a book on child rearing from the 1940’s… my father believed it, and as I think you may have heard, I never had a relationship with him or knew him first hand… most of what I know about him is from my mother, and it isn’t good… I have never missed him, but I know my kids will miss me… the image of Josef Fritzl watching the football matches with his kids is one that confuses me… if that monster could do that, and spend time with his kids, why not my father…
July 15th, 2008 at 11:26 am
Dear David,
Many of us grew up in that generation with parents who were authoritarian. I agree that parents are capable of anything, like in the other post, they can not be discounted when the suspicion is on gross neglect / murder. I don’t think there are perfect parents, just like there are no perfect people. Many people, if not all people, grew up broken and they spend a life time trying to mend themselves.
July 15th, 2008 at 7:08 pm
Dear Angie, sometimes when I read you, I get the feeling we may have gone to school together
no sisters, so can’t claim a long lost relationship… when I think of my own family history from 3 generations back, I can see that there has been progress from the Victorian Era, through the early 20th Century, to the mid 20th century, and then my own generation, the later 20th century… each society has it’s own benchmarks, but I think that there is progress in wearing down that Authoritarianism, unless it is really institutionalized from the Government or Religious Authorities down… societies pressures is always to liberalize… even amongst the kids I can see how we were stricter with our eldest… she says she broke us in for the others…
July 16th, 2008 at 4:24 pm
Dear Angie,
my brother is partially disabled with back injury, so he can’t walk far… he could drive and this is going to restrict him… they are not going to get a car again until at least November…
sorry about being missing in action yesterday, and will be again today… my sister in law’s car nearly self destructed yesterday… long story but everyone is ok… just the car in not going to be fixed… no money for new car, so I’m going up to the stores today to get food and come home by cab… well the doctor said I needed to get some exercise
I’ll be around… blown away about what you said about the people lurking from possible official channels… obviously Rose did have some idea, or was she one of the people, wanting to close the discussion down… what a mess… thought it was funny the idea of the reality show, to find a culprit/victim… how when a contestant gets kicked out, he/she becomes the victim/culprit for the week, and gets a weekend in jail… the winner gets a year…
July 16th, 2008 at 5:10 pm
Dear David,
Oh dear! Please take care. I suppose one can stock up like squirrels?
July 17th, 2008 at 2:48 pm
Dear Angie, taking care… and that squirrels idea is what I am aiming for… bought 72 cans of juice… was on sale almost 1/2 price… we are going to have a ‘heat’ wave, which is bad for Canada,… high of 28-31, but feel like 37-40… Celsius of course… I know India is much worse…
http://www.thestar.com/News/Canada/article/461021
was again shocked to read, that your site has had an attack… do you have any idea why… was it to do with Aarushi/Hemraj posting… you post on a variety of topics… did take a look in at the one about the two boys who were murdered… that too could be controversial… Please take care, and any precautions you can…
and hear is a short good news story… if you have time, think it will make you smile a little… it goes in the same category with the ones about people getting their big toe stuck in the bath tub spout
July 17th, 2008 at 4:24 pm
Dear David,
Thank you. I will keep track of how many times the sabotage happens before I make a guess. It could also be an innocent software glitch that caused a problem.
Ice cools better than a cold drink.
July 18th, 2008 at 11:32 am
Dear Angie, is that ice taken externally in a bath tub or internally with vodka or ___

now as to what I have been doing today…
I am not a political person by nature, preferring peacemaking and forgiveness… but I just started this political blog today in response to the Omar Khadr case and the release of the interrogation tapes from when he was 16, a few months after his capture…

Dear David,
The joke on being shot down by friendly fire is ok. Maybe it was intentional. I would check on “tragedy” a couple of times.
The Hermits Cabin has a neat front lawn. It was quite dramatic to see winter-spring in pics. Pretty pics inspire poetry. Personal anecdotes in poetry is another way of presentation.
Great work over there.
I don’t keep track of updates so its nice of you to come and drop the links.

Dear Angie, the joke was intentionally vague… it is only partially original… it was inspired by this joke here… go down and pick your least favorite politician

ok, if I post anything that I think you might be interested in I will let you know…
just been out with my brother and sister in law, to a place called Whitby, to watch the waves and the moon rise, full…
felt sorry for the people at the dealership… she got what she wanted, at the price she wanted…
it is her 50th birthday this weekend… they went to the car dealership today, where they had the other car repaired… she got a great deal on a new car… she is a tough sell, and with what happened last week, her Birthday and a mild migraine headache from over work, she was not in a mood to be out done… she went in there with guns loaded for bear, as they say over here… think a 5′6″, blond, Rambo in drag

Dear David,
Thanks for the many links. I have to read and update soon. Don’t pity the car dealers. I think all tradesmen earn a huge mark up of 100-200 % so they should be able to afford a discount. When they are in the mood for a sale, they reduce to 70% down. Have a nice weekend.

Dear Angie, ok, won’t pity the car dealers if they make that much… never thought of them making so much profit… rather scandalous really… same as the big banks and the oil companies… price of oil shoots up, and immediately the price of gas at the pump shoots, up… now that the price of oil is dropping the gas companies say they have to use up the expensive gas before lowering the price… but no one in government questions that… hypocrisy… as well, here in canada, the price can fluctuate throughout the day by 10 cents, whereas in other countries it stays stationary for weeks…
