Samuel Davis was arrested on suspicion of killing his wife, Meredith Davis. Samuel R Davis, of Choudrant, Lincoln, Louisiana, was believed to have killed Meredith Davis and thrown her body off the bridge in Richland Parish. Davis was arrested on Saturday, May 23.

Police were tipped off about a body being dumped off the bridge. Richland law officers recovered the body. Lincoln law officers arrested Samuel Davis as he was traveling on Interstate 20.
