Samuel da Silva Souza, 3, spent 5 days having a bullet lodged in his brain. Souza had been playing in the street of Brazil, with his friend. Souza complained of a pain in his head when he went home. Souza was seen by a doctor who then prescribed him antibiotics.

Four days later, still in pain, Souza was seen by another doctor who sent him home without doing an X-ray. Souza’a family paid for an X-ray and that was when they discovered the bullet in Souza’s head. It took surgeons 4 hours to remove the bullet. Souza was not seriously injured. Police said they would investigate on how Souza got hit by a bullet.
