Sammy Villegas, an ex basketball player at the University of Toledo, has been charged by federal officials with accepting bribes to fix games. Sammy Villegas was a guard for his former Toledo basketball team.

Sammy Villegas was accused of point shaving. Sammy Villegas alleged cheated during the 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 seasons. There are others in this conspiracy but they have not been named yet.
