Updated November 9 – Rebecca Polihronis, a former worker for the Cubs, knows Sammy Sosa and talks to him frequently. Polihronis defended Sammy Sosa’s skin condition. Polihronis said Sosa was having a skin rejuvenation. Polihronis said the lighting of the camera’s flash made Sosa’s skin appear lighter.

Polihronis said Sosa was in the middle of a procedure to cleanse his skin. Sosa allegedly was unaware his skin would turn out looking bleached on camera. Sosa allegedly told Polihronis that he thought it was incredible that people reacted to his skin and made a big deal out of it.

Sammy Sosa attended the red carpet event with his wife, Sonia Sosa. Sosa, who retired in 2007, has had more time on his hands to work on his image.

Sosa has changed the color of his eyes from brown to green by using contact lens. Sosa has suddenly appeared with lighter color skin and it didn’t look like the work of makeup.
