April 26, 2009 – Salma Hayek, 42, and Francois-Henry Pinault, 46, held a post wedding or second wedding bash for their guests in Venice, Italy. Hayek and Pinault held a masquerade party at the Punta Della Dogana. This venue was Venice’s old custom house. The newly weds were accompanied by Pinault’s son from his earlier marriage and their daughter, Valentina, 19 months old.

Hayek and Pinault’s wedding guests were Francois Pinault, Jacques Chirac, Lily Cole, Anna Wintour, Charlize Theron and Zhang Ziyi. Other unconfirmed guests were Ed Norton, Woody Harrelson, Ashley Judd, Olivier Martnez, David Blaine, Penelope Cruz, Frida co-star Ashley Judd, Gael Garcia Bernal and Lucy Liu.

Hayek and Pinault were first married on Feb 14, 2009 in Paris. This was a small and private wedding ceremony.

Salma Hayek’s breastfeeding video was made in Sierra Leone, in Africa. Hayek was touring with UNICEF and the cameras were filming for ABC Nightline news programme. Hayek met a mother who was unable to breastfeed her child. Hayek volunteered to breastfeed the baby. Her breastfeeding video is below.

Alec Baldwin & Salma Hayek: Baldwin embarrassed by Hayek (photos)

Salma Hayek, 42, is a guest on “30 Rock.” Hayek plays Alec Baldwin’s mother’s nurse. When Baldwin’s character discovers he has testicular cancer, the nurse put her hand down his pants to cop a feel.

To make the situation worse, Baldwin said that this scene was shot as their first scene together. After Hayek’s cameo, there were another 5 more episodes with less touchy and feeling scenes. Alec Baldwin, 50, said he was embarrassed by the requirement of the scene.

Salma Hayek was a celebrity guest on “Wetten Dass.” The usual format of this German show required the contest player to bet on the outcome of a guest’s performance. The loser of the bet has to do a forfeit. Hayek batted and she lost. Hayek’s forfeit was to don the outrageously sexy, ethnic Bavarian dress called the Dirndl.

Salma Hayek: Salma Hayek not lesbian

Salma Hayek was wrongly heard as a lesbian. Hayek was chatting to Eamonn Holmes, a British TV presenter when he misunderstood her Mexican-Lebanese accent (pictures here). Hayek told Holmes she is “half Lebanese” but Eamonn Holmes asked her, “So you’re a lesbian?” Salma Hayek laughed off the joke and explained slowly that she is “Le-ba-nese.”

Salma Hayek, the beautiful actress, campaigned on Thursday, Oct 2. Salma Hayek wants to eliminate ttetanus, a deadly illness. Tetanus kills a newborn every 3 minutes in a poor country. Salma Hayek is a spokeswoman for Pampers/ UNICEF campaign against tetanus. Last week, Hayek traveled to Sierra Leone to promote vaccination against tetanus. This week, Salma Hayek was in Geneva to speak about tetanus in Sierra Leone.

Salma Hayek has a daughter named Valentina with Francois-Henri Pinault, a French businessman. Hayek was seen at Paris Fashion Week with Francois-Henri Pinault. This sparked rumors that Hayek may reconcile with Pinault. It was rumored that Salma hayek broke off with Pinault in a shocking change of mind after the couple was engaged to marry.

Tina Fey, one of the producers of “30 Rock” specially asked Salma Hayek to guest star in “30 Rock” as a character. This is unconfirmed as the official spokespeople have not commented on this yet. Hayek has already guest starred in Ugly Betty and her TV appearances were well received.

Salma Hayek & Sami Hayek sued by Alejandro Artigas

Alejandro Artigas is suing Salma Hayek and Sami Hayek for wrongful dismissal. Alejandro Artigas claimed that Sami Hayek was guilty of fraud, mismanagement and/or abuse of authority.

Alejandro Artigas has requested the judge to dissolve the business and appoint a receiver to run the company. All 3 parties in the lawsuit have not spoken to explain the case.
