I am saddened by this incident. They should have cancelled the remaining shows for the weekend. My family just attended its first MONSTER JAM. It was fabulous! You take inherent risk attending these events. Hopefully lawsuits don’t completely ruin MONSTER JAM. Tear me down if you must, but I will attend another one with my kids (3,6,9 yrs. old each).

And you are an idiot Jeremy to risk your children’s lives like that. Yes, there may be a 1 in a million chance, but is it worth it? Never. My children heard about this tragedy, and don’t want to go to the monster trucks ever again, and they were something we’d done with the kids MANY times, and I as a kid went to…… but something like this just ruins it.

I have to wonder if your response would be the same if it was your child that was killed.

I hope it does ruin monster jam, or make it safer. NO you wouldn’t sing the same tune if it was your child, it wasn’t mine either, but Sebastian was my nephew. I will never go, prob. even if there are safety measures. I would never put Sebastians 2 year old cousin ( my daughter) in that same senseless danger!!!

My children heard about this the day we received the phone call and have vowed that they will never attend one of these events again because of the way the situation was handled. Very disrespectful. I have rethought life insurance after this situation because so many businesses don’t want to take responsibility for their own actions.

I can understand that people are saddened and upset about both of the incidents that occurred at Monster Jam. We cannot hold the drivers or anyone else for that matter to blame for these accidents, which is exactly what they were. No one can foresee them happening and cannot blame anyone for them. I have attended many shows that have had no accidents occur, but there may be that one day that things will change. My children love the events too, but how can I tell them that we will not go anymore? I know it’s putting your child in harms way, but isn’t getting in your car and driving to the store also putting them at risk too? Accidents happen wherever, whenever without knowing.
