Ryan Widmer has been sentenced. Widmer received 15 years to life in prison. Widmer will be eligible for parole after he serves 15 years. Widmer was sentenced on Thursday night, April 2, 2009.

Ryan Widmer was convicted guilty of killing his new wife of 4 months. The jury decided Widmer was not guilty of aggravated murder. Sarah Widmer, 24, died on August 11, 2008.

Ryan Widmer claimed he was downstairs watching TV and discovered Sarah unresponsive in the bathtub in the bath room upstairs.
