Ryan McDonald, 15, was shot dead by his classmate during a quarrel in a school in Tennessee. Other teen friends were present when the shooting occurred. Ryan McDonald had alopecia, a condition that made him bald. Children often teased him for his alopecia.

Ryan McDonald died in the school cafeteria at Central High School in Knoxville, Tennessee. Bill McIntyre, Knox County School System superintendent, told that Ryan McDonald and Jamar Siler, the shooter, knew each other. Jamar Siler, 15, was charged with one count of murder.
