Rose Harn is a victim of a drink driving accident. The pictures of Rose Harn and Mike Harn are here. A 16 year old drunk driver crashed into her car. Rose Harn consequentially had serious injuries. Rose Harn was left paralyzed and had left brain damage. Harn communicated by blinking for yes and slowing shaking her head for no. The teen driver was sentenced to 90 days jail for reckless driving.

Rose Harn’s husband, Mike Harn, volunteered at Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and brought themselves to a fair booth at the Western Idaho Fair on Aug. 19 to help out. Miren Aburusa, executive Director of MADD, told Mike Harn to return home with Rose Harn because they got feedback from people. Aburusa said she worried about the Sheriff showing up at the booth, about the possibility of a riot happening, and the safety of Rose Harn. Dicksie Luke, of Court Referral Services, was in charge of arranging appearances by Rose Harn at court ordered traffic safety courses fro offenders. Luke said that Rose Harn was present at events to let people understand what happens with drink driving.
