Ron Futrell, a reporter with KTNV-TV Channel 13, was arrested. Ron Futrell has charges on three hit-and-run offences and related charges. This happened last Friday, July 25, 2008.

Ron Futrell had a car crash before midnight of Friday. Ron Futrell was at Interstate 15 at Charleston Boulevard.

Ron Futrell was arrested on Saturday, 1:26 am. His lawyer, Andrew Leavitt, said that Ron Futrell did not take drugs or alcohol. Ron Futrell had a crash, hit his head, and forgot what was the right thing to do. After he recalled, he returned to the site of the crash and saw that the other vehicle had left so he went home.

Ron Futrell was booked, and then released on Saturday itself.
