Rohan Morgan, 16, of Hillcrest High School in Jamaica, Queens, NY, has accused school safety agents of assaulting him. Rohan Morgan alleged that in March 208, when he was caught using his cell phone during school hours, he was assaulted. Morgan claimed he suffered bruises and a knee injury.

Rohan Morgan claimed that he was again assaulted in a second encounter in July 2008. Rohan Morgan alleged the school safety agents injured his knee and middle finger. The agents then took him to a psychiatric hospital without reason.

Veronica Renta Irwin, Rohan Morgan’s lawyer, said she has filed a notice of claim.

The school said it would investigate. The safety agents had their own version what they claimed had happened.
