Robin Roberts will be on Grand Ole Opry on Friday, October 2. Roberts was chosen to make her guest appearance on the show because the episode promotes research about cancer. Roberts had breast cancer in 2007. She will be a presenter to introduce acts in the Grand Ole Opry show.

Robin Roberts is remembered as the co-host of “Good Morning America” and the author of a book called “From The Heart: Eight Rules To Live By”. In her book, Roberts talked about being a cancer patient and survivor.
