Robin Crawford was Whitney Houston’s former assistant. Houston allegedly was besotted with Crawford. Since Houston was America’s sweetheart at that time, she might have wanted to squash the rumor that she was having an intimate relationship with Crawford.

Houston dated and married Bobby Brown.

There were alarm bells ringing everywhere to sound off Houston on Bobby Brown. Houston paid no heed to them. She married Brown and slowly succumbed to some demons.

Bobby Brown wrote his confessional book to accuse Houston of marrying him just crate a false façade to hide her problems. Brown claimed Houston used him as a cover to eliminate the unsavoury rumors about her alleged sexuality.
