Robert Scott Kollman: Kollman charged with livestock theft

Robert Scott Kollman was arrested during the second week of August 2009. Kollman was an animal protection officer working in Austin. Kollman was charged with cattle theft. Kollman allegedly stole 7 cows from a ranch in Caldwell county.

Kollman sold 6 calves and 1 cow at a livestock auction on August. Kollman acted suspiciously and he was reported to the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association’s Special Ranger.

Robert Kollman was questioned and he admitted stealing 7 heads of cattle to sell. Kollman surrendered to Caldwell County’s Sheriff’s Office. Kollman was then charged with one count of felony livestock theft. Kollman is now looking at a maximum of 2 years in prison if he is convicted on the theft charge.
