Robert Redford, 71, married Sibylle Szaggars, 51. Redford and Szaggars had their wedding in Hamburg last weekend. Redford had dated Szaggars since 1996. Redford nearly married secretly as he had only informed around 30 of their family members and very close friends.

Szaggars is a German abstract artist. Szaggars’ work has been shown in exhibitions in Germany, UK, US and other countries. Szaggars was engaged to Redford around March 2008. Redford and Szaggars were known to have lived at his ranch in Utah.

Robert Redford’s first wife was Lola Van Wagenen. They divorced in 1985. Redford and Wagenen had Jamie Redford, now 46, Shauna Redford, 48, and Amy Redford, 38. Their son Scott did due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

After Redford’s divorce, he dated Sonia Braga and Kathy O’Rear. None worked out until he dated Szaggars.
