Robert Hazard, the Philadelphia musician and songwriter, has died from pancreatic cancer. Robert Hazard wrote Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” and other memorable songs.

Robert Hazard, 59, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2008. Robert Hazard’s friend, Bill Eid, told the newspapers. Robert Hazard had surgery last week. Robert Hazard had ill health before that and had cancelled his tours.
