Eileen Adams, 14, was sexually assaulted and strangled in Monroe, Michigan in 1967. Her father, Larry Adams told the story to a police officer, Mike McGee.

Larry Adams was a visiting guest from a nursing home when he went to McGee’s in-laws’ house for a dinner. Mike McGee listened to Adams’ story and re-opened the cold case. That was 2 years ago. The suspect, Robert Bowman, (picture here) had been spotted in California. Police had used Robert Bowman’s daughter’s DNA to compare with DNA found on Eileen Adams and they had a match. It has been 41 years since the murder of Eileen Adams.
