Robbie Williams allegedly will be in negotiations with ITV’s X Factor. The rumors said Williams may join X Factor as a new judge.

Simon Cowell could not confirm any rumors. ITV needs a bigger budget for more staff for X Factor. Cowell said the rumor about Mel B coming into X Factor was untrue. Cowell met Mel B earlier in 2009 to discuss about another TV show.

Dannii Minogue is not going to be axed. If Robbie Williams comes into X Factor, he will be the fifth judge for the novelty category.

Cowell stressed he would remain loyal to ITV and not take X Factor out even if the station can’t renew the show for lack of a bigger budget.
