RJ Richard: RJ Richard’s bullet stopped by cell phone
By Therese Lisieux on November 21st, 2008R. J. Richard, of Covington, La., said his cell phone saved his life because a bullet fired at him hit his cell phone in his chest pocket, instead of embedding in him. R.J. Richard was mowing his lawn when he felt something hit his chest. R.J. Richard took out his cell phone and it fell apart. Richard found a stray .45-caliber bullet on his lawn.
Usually, Richard would keep his phone in his pants pocket but on that particular day, he felt like putting his cell phone in the breast pocket of his overalls. Richard attributed the incident to a miracle to increase his faith. R. J. Richard thought the bullet was a stray one from a hunter near his 5-acre property.
