Riley Buchness, 6 months old, disappeared on Dec. 23 from his home in Miami. The parents of Riley Buchness reported to police that their babysitter, Camille, 20-30 years old, had taken Riley away. Police suspected that they could be traveling in a red Acura, which may be having a Massachusettes tag.

On early Fri. morning, Dec. 26, police have informed the press that the search for Riley Buchness has been called off. The police will release more information later in the day.

Police have discovered the truth. Megan McCormic, 22, the supposed mother of Riley Buchness, never gave birth to him. McCormic lied to lure her ex boyfriend, John Buchness, to meet her in Miami. McCormic used some pictures from the internet to invent the story of Riley Buchness.  Police will take steps to ask for payment for the manpower and resources used in the search for a fake missing child.
