Arizona Congressman, Rick Renzi, was charged in Feb. Rick Renzi was accused of doing an exchange of federally owned mining land for his own benefit and also for a former business partner. On Thursday, more charges were added to the rap sheet for Rick Renzi. There were additional charges of racketeering, wire fraud,consoiracy and other counts. A new defendant has been added in the case against Rick Renzi. Renzi pleaded not guilty to the original charges. Rick Renzi’s lawyer, Reid Weingarten, accused the government f adding unwarranted charges to try to force Congressman Renzi to plead guilty.
