Richard M Scrushy, former chairman and chief executive of HealthSouth Corp, was found responsible for the fraud that almost destroyed HealthSouth Corp. The judge awarded $2.876 billion in damages to the plaintiffs. Scrushy denied any involvement in the fraud that surfaced in 2005.

How is Scrushy going to pay for his restitution? The judge rescinded Scrushy’s job. Scrushy has to work somewhere else to make his money now.
