Richard Price wants to help his son, Owain Price. Owain Price has Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Owain Price could be wheelchair bound when he reaches his teens.

Richard Price is reluctant to let Owain go on steroids because it could become fatal. Instead, he is working to form a consortium of drug companies to fund important research for gene therapy.
