Updated May 8 – The jury has cleared Snoop Dogg from blame. Another performer, Doggy Style Music and a few others, will be ordered to pay $440,000 for Richard Monroe’s injuries.

Snoop Dogg is on trial in a civil lawsuit in Santa Monica. Richard Monroe Jr claimed Snoop Dogg assaulted him with a brass microphone after he jumped onstage to join Snoop Dogg. Dogg’s lawyers claimed Snoop Dogg acted in self defence when Monroe approached suddenly.

Snoop Dogg claimed another rapper, The Game, and his entourage was responsible for starting trouble.

Snoop Dogg claimed Monroe was not invited to go onstage and should not be there. Snoop Dogg denied hitting Monroe. Dogg has turned around to counter allege that he was the victim who was being attacked by Monroe.

The California Highway Patrol website had an entry at 3:19 pm April 9 that said “The word is “Snoop Doggy Dog” has the dead body of his wife in his basement”. The CHP has not forwarded the message to the LA County Sheriff’s Department. It probably is fake. Look at the screenshot/photo on the bizarre message here.

Snoop Dogg entourage busted for weed

Police who behaved like Cheech and Chong’s act of “Hey, What’s That Smell” busted two men from Snoop Dogg’s entourage bus. Texas Police had stopped the weed bus for expired tabs.

Police got their bonus scoop when “Hey, What’s That Smell” located 2 oz. of Mary Jane. Two gracious offenders admitted their respective ownerships. Snoop Dogg’s men were arrested and thrown into Navarro County Jail. Snoop Dogg was on board but he got away scout free.
