Richard Jefferson jilted his fiancée Kesha Ni’Cole Nichols just before their scheduled Saturday wedding which was supposed to happen on July 11. Nichols called her friends to tell them her wedding was canceled.

Jefferson did not call his friends until 2 hours before the wedding. Jefferson’s friends were already at the hotel, the Mandarin Oriental in Columbus Circle. Jefferson passed his credit card to his best friend, who used it to pay for the guests’ party that Saturday.

Nichols visited the Mandarin Oriental and was given a suite with a big bed and a view of the Central Park. Jefferson may have given that instruction.

Nichols and Jefferson did not comment on their canceled nuptials.
