Updated August 19 – Richard Hatch did an interview for the Today Show. After which, Hatch was arrested. Police have not released information to the circumstances for Hatch’s arrest. Hatch did say he had permission to do the TV show interview. There is speculation that Hatch was arrested for comments he said during the interview.

Richard Hatch has been released from prison after 4 years. Hatch served time for tax evasion. Hatch said he was a victim because he was a homosexual. Hatch has to serve house arrest at his sister’s home.

Hatch was convicted after he failed to pay tax for $1 million which he won on Survivor, the first season. Hatch said CBS promised to pay the taxes. Hatch still insists he is innocent of the tax evasion charges. Hatch said he did not receive a bill from the IRS. Hatch said she would pay up if he gets the bill. It is tough to believe all of that.
