The Rhinoceros Times, of Greensboro, North Carolina, published a letter written by columnist Orson Scott Card. Orson Scott Card blamed the Democrats for the economic crisis. Orson Scott Card was not the first to do so.

Orson Card pointed it out that the Democrats had pressuured Fannie Mae and Freddic Mac to give housing loans to almost all who applied even as the borrowers fell short of the credit. Orson Scott Card suggests we should follow the money trail of the $700 billion bailout and see who profits by it. Democracts Senator Christopher Dodd and Congressman Barney Frank were alleged to have hid the true financial standing of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
