Rev. Richard Cizik, a representative of the National Association of Evangelicals in Washington, has quit. Rev. Richard Cizik resigned after people objected over his comment on supporting gay unions.

Rev. Richard Cizik commented that he was in favour for unions between gays. Cizik made his remark on the Dec. 2 interview on National Public Radio’s “Fresh Air”

A spokesperson from the National Association of Evangelicals told the press Richard Cizik made comments that did not reflect the values of the group.
