Rev Jesse Jackson: Jews respond to Rev Jesse Jackson

Rev. Jesse Jackson said that “Zionists have controlled American policy for decades.” The American Jewish Committee (AJC) has criticized Rev. Jesse Jackson for his remarks. According to the AJC Executive Director, David A. Harris, Rev. Jesse Jackson has made other troubling comments on Israel, Zionism and the Jewish people. Harris said that Israel is a friend of America. The US and Israel share values and interests. Israel/ Zionism. Jackson implied that Obama would not be so influenced by Zionists.
The Obama Campaign was quick to reaffirm Obama’s “commitment to Israel’s security.”
