Ray Kot, a shift manager at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey, was killed. Ray Kot was fatally shot by a customer of the casino. Kot was shot by a regular customer of the casino. Kot knew the regular customer who went into the casino on Wednesday, May 27.

Kot was from Egg Harbor Township. Kot was described as a nice man with no known enemies. Kot had worked for the Trump Taj Mahal since it opened in 1990.

Kot was shot in an office which was used by the staff and not accessible to the public. Kot had 3 – 4 gunshot wounds. Surgeons operated on Ray Kot but he died after surgery.

The suspect, 57, of Norristown, Pennsylvania, was arrested at the parking lot of the resort. Police recovered the gun used in shooting Ray Kot. The suspect’s name will be released on Thursday, May 28.
