Janet Abaroa, 26, was married and had a young son, Kaiden Abaroa, 6 months old. In April 2005, Janet Abaroa was fatally stabbed in her home.

Janet’s husband, Raven Abaroa, said he found his wife dead at home.

Before Kaiden Abaroa was born on Oct 17, 2004, Raven admitted he had cheated in his marriage. The couple was advised by relatives and friends to work out their marriage.

In Dec 2004, Raven was caught cheating from his employer’s company. Mr Abaroa pleaded guilty to avoid jail time.

On April 26, 2005, Abaroa found Janet dead. Police failed to find the knife and evidence to suspect anyone.

Raven Abaroa relocated to Salt Lake City and met Vanessa Pond, a single mother of a daughter. Abaroa married Pond in 2008.

Vanessa Pond said she experienced behavioral changes and feared for the worst. Pond separated from Abaroa. Pond said she has suspicions about Abaroa and feared that he might have been responsible for his former wife’s death.
