Updated November 4 – Rachel Houghton once dated Dane Cook for more than 2 years. Houghton and Cook were first seen together in public as an item when they appeared at the premiere of “Employee of the Month”, in September 2006.

Dane Cook said he was invited to other functions but the premiere was his first big public outing with Houghton. Cook said he like independent and funny woman and Houghton was The woman.

There were rumors that Cook and Houghton had split. However, there were also contradictory rumors that said Houghton and Cook reunited and even got married.

Sadly, Houghton didn’t last long in the elimination process. Houghton made it into American Idol in the initial auditions but was booted later on.

Houghton has had some exposure and experience during her two years with Dane Cook. Cook and Houghton attended red carpet events, and saw the inside workings of Hollywood. Houghton was a former band member of The Valli Girls. Houghton was a singer in the group.
