Randy Green, of New York, was sentenced for a fatal stabbing. Randy Green said he was provoked to stab and kill Ray Pike. Randy Green was sentenced Thursday, April 2, to 22 years in prison.

Green claimed Ray Pike showed him a sexually explicit video of himself with a young girl. Green claimed he was affected when he saw the video. Green claimed to have been provoked with outrage at the pornographic video of Pike and the young girl. The DA said police had not found such a tape.

Ray Pike was killed by a slit throat on August 15 2008. Pike was killed on a trail in Gloversville. Pike was a registered sex offender. He had volunteered to do work for the local churches.
