Robert Vadra’s father, Rajendra Vadra, was found dead. It seemed Vadra Sr had hung himself from the ceiling fan in his room in Citi Inn. Vadra was sent to hospital, where he was declared dead.

Robert Vadra is married to Priyanka Gandhi. Priyanka is Sonia Gandhi’s daughter. The Congress president, her son Rahul Gandhi, and Sonia Gandhi were present for the cremation of Rajendra Vadra at the Lodi Road crematorium in New Delhi.

No officials gave information on the death of Rajendra Vadra. Vadra Sr was known to have liver cirrhosis. Vadra was discharged from hospital around 12 days ago.
