Rain, the Korean pop singer, has been chosen to represent his country, mainly South Korea, to promote it. Rain’s alternative name is Jung Ji-hoon. Rain was appointed as Seoul City’s first Global Goodwill Ambassador on June 9. Rain’s role would be to generate publicity to promote Seoul. Rain is a native Seoul resident. Rain stands for Seoul in that sense of the word.
