Raffaello Follieri, Anne Hathaway’s ex-boyfriend, will attend Manhattan District court on September 10. Raffaello Follieri is ready to consider a plea deal to spend about five years in a federal prison.

Raffaello Follieri was accused of swindling money from donors or sponsors by claiming he had ties with the Roman Catholic Vatican. Follieri had been jailed since June on wire fraud, money laundering charges and other charges. Follieri’s bail was set at $21 million and no one paid up.
