Raelene Aguilar, Miss New Mexico USA, has been arrested for DUI. Aguilar was arrested on Thursday, April 2. Police arrested Aguilar in El Paso, Texas.

Police stopped Aguilar for speeding. Aguilar was given a field sobriety test which she failed. Aguilar was arrested and booked into jail Thursday, April 2. Aguilar appeared before a judge to get bail. She was released after she posted bail of $600.

Miss Universe Organization Paula Shugart sent her sympathies. Aguilar had finished her duties as Miss New Mexico USA 2008 on Dec 31 2008. Aguilar said she was innocent and will contest the DUI charge.
