Rachel Hoffman, 23, was murdered in May 2008. Her story began when Rachel Hoffman was caught 2 times, in possession of marijuana. Police asked Rachel Hoffman to work undercover for the Tallahassee Police Department in Florida. Rachel Hoffman first went missing on May 7 and by May 9, she was found dead.

Two men were arrested in relation to her death. Rachel Hoffman’s mother, Margie Weiss, found comfort at the Purple Hatter’s Ball, a charity function held in Rachel’s honor, in July.
