Rachael Renee Romanick: Romanick $33 million Megabucks jackpot winner

Rachael Renee Romanick, 38, of Reno, hit the $33 million jackpot. Romanick was lucky at a Sparks casino. Romanick won the second largest Megabucks jackpot in history. Romanick, a mother of four children, was in disbelief immediately after she struck pay dirt.

Romanick said she had not intended to go gambling at Rail City. Her friend wanted to go so she changed her mind and accompanied him.

Rachael Romanick won the first Megabucks jackpot at Terrible’s Rail City Casino. Herbst Gaming owns this casino. Barry Phillips, the VP and GM of Terrible’s Rail City Casino, was glad a local from Reno had won their big jackpot. Mr Phillips said the casino was proud to be a local’s casino and they were pleased a local had won the huge jackpot.
