Rachael Mullenix, of Huntington Beach, has been sentenced to 25 years to life in prison. Rachael Mullenix denied conspiring with her boyfriend, Ian W. Allen, to kill her mother. Mullenix said she did not do enough to prevent the murder of her mother Barbara Mullenix, 56.

Rachael Mullenix was 17 in Sept. 2006, when she conspired with her former boyfriend, Ian Allen, 23, to kill her mother, Barbara Mullenix, because of a 1 am curfew. Ian Allen was convicted for first degree murder in Sept. 2008. Ian Allen will be sentenced in Nov. Allen, like Mullenix, faces 25 years to life when he is sentenced.
