Quinton “Rampage” Jackson: Jackson sentenced for charges

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has been sentenced for leading Costa Mesa police on a wild chase, during which he hit 3 cars. Jackson pleaded guilty on Thur., Jan 8. Jackson pleaded guilty to felony police evasion against traffic and misdemeanor reckless driving on July 15. The Orange County Superior Court heard Jackson’s case.

Quinton Jackson, a former mixed martial arts champion, apologized for his actions. Jackson said he suffered delusions from a lack of sleep and food. Jackson said he had lost his Ultimate Fighting Championship light heavyweight title and was upset. Forrest Griffin won the title 10 days earlier prior to Jackson’s arrest.

Quinton Jackson was sentenced to do 200 hors of community service. Jackson has to undergo mental health therapy and pay for the damage to cars he hit. If Jackson satisfies these conditions, the felony charges will be dismissed and he may avoid jail.
