Pregnant girl, nine year old, is carrying twins. The nine year old girl was alleged to have been impregnated by her stepfather. The pregnant girl lives in Brazil. The girl complained about stomach pains and the hospital discovered she was pregnant.

Brazil’s Diario de Pernambuco newspaper reported a doctor saying they were worried that the nine year old girl’s pelvis was unable to support the gestation of the twins.

The girl is likely to abort her 4 month old fetuses. Abortion is illegal in the predominantly Catholic Brazil. Abortion is only permitted in rape cases or when the female’s health is at risk.
