An accountant, unemployed and depressed, killed his wife, 3 children, mother-in-law, and then committed suicide. Police suspected the murders were done by their family member, the father of the family. They lived in the Sorrento Pointe, in the San Fernando Valley in Porter Ranch. The police have not released the names of the dead because they wanted the children’s schools to get ready their grief counselors to deal with the situation. The murders happened on Sat., after 6 pm.

The neighbor across the street at the Porter Ranch area said he did not hear any gun shots on Saturday.
