Plaxico Burress shot himself inside a night club on Fri., Nov. 28. Plaxico Burress spent his Fri. night in hospital. His injury is not life threatening. Plaxico Burress was not due to play this Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins as he had a hamstring injury.

Plaxico Burress had been absent from team meetings and last Sat.’s walkthrough. Burress had bee suspended and fined for offences like missing meetings and arguing with officials. Burress insisted he was not distracting his team. Plaxico Burress has a $35 million contract with the Giants.

The New York Giants declined to comment on Burress’ shooting accident.
