Plaxico Burress: New York Giants released Plaxico Burress

Plaxico Burress has been released by the New York Giants. Burress, the former New York Giants wide receiver, was previously suspended without pay for the final 4 games of last season. Burress received his suspension after his arrest for the incident where he shot himself in his leg at a public place. Plaxico Burress’ next court date is on June 15.
