Pierce Brosnan, 55, and his wife, Keely Shaye Brosnan, 45, have received the award for Responsible Activism in Media and Entertainment. Brosnan and Shaye-Brosnan have been active supporters of “Roots and Shoots”, the global environmental youth program. Dr. Jane Goodall had started the Roots and Shoots green program.

Brosnan, in his speech, said he and his wife Keely, were honored to receive the award from Dr. Jane Goodall. Pierce Brosnan and Keely Shaye Brosnan live in Hawaii with their two kids, Dylan Brosnan, 11, and Paris Brosnan, 7. Brosnan has 3 grown children from his first marriage. Brosnan said he and Keely grew their own organic vegetables for consumption at their home.
